The Weird and Wonderful World of Captain Black

Step aboard and strap in — Captain Black is your eccentric guide through the cosmos of quirky tunes, curious tales, and wonderfully weird wonders. With a voice as smooth as moonlight and a playlist that’s always unexpected, Captain Black doesn’t just play music — he paints surreal audio landscapes. Expect the bizarre, the brilliant, and everything in between. This is more than a radio show. It’s a transmission from another dimension. The weirder it gets, the better it sounds. Support our work

Drystone Radio was established in 1998 as a charity, for the benefit of the community and the people who live here. Our fundraising helps to support our broadcasting and our training scheme for those looking to learn about radio.

As a not-for-profit all money we raise is invested back into the radio station and helps both support our day-to-day operations as well as ongoing upgrades, projects and improvements.
